I picked up your dvd because of the statement when life hurts the most. Grab my attention and knew I needed encouragement. I have the indescribable dvd and I wasn't aware of new dvd's were out there. So when I saw this Hope dvd I purchased it brought it home and listened, learned and hoped.
Because of events that had happened in my life I needed HOPE. I knew the message when life hurts most is what I needed. Have you ever suffered loss but death wasn't the way it happened? I have had so many events that loss has occurred it just astounds me. I didn't lose them by death I lost in a different way. A new job time loss, divorce friend loss, moving and family loss. I actually live in Scotland. I became a Christian in the Spring of 2008, and got Baptised in Fall of last year. I had an awesome year learning about God in my life and I knew it was the way I wanted to live my life in the future.

I have had a very unsettled life, I was abused from a young age by members of my family, I then lost my mum when I was 14 which was the end of my world! I suffered badly and actually took several overdoses as I didn't see any hope! I met the man of my dreams, or so i thought, and was with him for 17 years, however my marriage actually ended a year and a half ago too....yet again, so did my life!

A High School Senior in our community was tragically killed in a car accident this week.  Several of the kids in my student ministry were friends with him.  It has been tough for the community, especially his friends and family.  I was trying to think of what to speak on last night, and what came to mind was Hope.  Then I remembered I had a DVD of your Hope Series – When Life Hurts Most.  So, instead of me doing the talk – I let Louie.

I firstly wanted to say THANK YOU. We have been incredibly helped by Louie's talks, particularly the Hope When Life Hurts Most message. One of our children died a little while back and obviously we have found the experience extremely hard and testing. We have clung to God throughout and I scarcely know what we would have done without His care and strength, yet at times the struggle seemed too great. I just listened to "When Life Hurts the Most."  This message had me in tears; it comforted and blessed me.  I lost my 18 year old son, Zach, in a freak drowning accident (he drowned in about 8-10 inches of water with half his body still on the bank-slipped and hit his head on a rock while fishing) just 5 hours after we had prayed over him and commissioned him off to Argentina, a one year mission trip.  I remember praying the day that I left the emergency room when they had told us he had drowned, I prayed that God would help me to walk through this so that all people would see when they looked at me was Jesus.
